What is Pool Rummy and why is it so popular?
Pool Rummy is one of the most popular card games in the Indian subcontinent, presented by JILI Games in their own digital version. The game is based on classic Rummy rules but is played in a pool format — meaning that in each round, the player who is first to meld or lay off all their cards wins, while the remaining players accumulate points.
The advantage of playing JILI's Pool Rummy at kg999app is that it runs seamlessly on both mobile and browser. Players from Dhaka and across the country are joining this game. The simple interface, realistic card animations, and smooth gameplay make it a distinct experience.
The most appealing aspect of Pool Rummy is its strategic depth. Rather than relying purely on luck, skill and making the right decisions are the key factors here. That is why experienced card game fans have quickly added it to their list of favourites.

Pool Rummy Core Rules
Objective of the Game
Form sets (same value, different suits) and sequences (consecutive cards of the same suit) with your cards and be the first to call "Rummy". The unmatched card points of your opponents are added to your score.
Card Distribution
Each player receives 13 cards at the start. One card is placed face up to form the discard pile. Take turns drawing and discarding to build sets and sequences.
Joker Card
Joker or wild cards can be used in Pool Rummy. A joker can substitute for any card, but jokers cannot be used in a pure sequence.
Point Calculation
Face cards (K, Q, J) and Ace each carry 10 points. Number cards carry points equal to their face value. In Pool Rummy, a player is eliminated once they cross the set points limit.
Drop Option
Dropping at the start of the game adds first drop points. Dropping mid-game adds more points as a mid drop. Use the drop option strategically when your hand is weak.
End of Game
In Pool Rummy, the last player remaining below the set points limit wins. The game is typically played in a 101 or 201 points format.
